1. Overview
YumiQ is a food product rating and discovery application, accessible via the website yumiq.app and iOS and Android mobile apps. Using YumiQ implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.
2. Access to the Service
Access to YumiQ requires creating an account. Registration is open to anyone with a Google account. No age restriction is imposed, but use by minors must be under the responsibility of parents or legal guardians.
The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their access and any activity performed from their account.
3. Features
YumiQ allows users to:
- Scan barcodes of food products
- View nutritional information (Nutri-Score, NOVA, Eco-Score)
- Rate and review products
- Manage shopping lists and meal plans
- Browse a catalogue of several million products
4. User-Generated Content
Ratings and reviews published by users are publicly visible. Users may choose to display their name or remain anonymous for their contributions.
By publishing content on YumiQ, users confirm they are the author and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. They grant YumiQ a non-exclusive licence to use and display this content within the service.
Any illegal, offensive, or misleading content may be removed without notice.
5. Product Data
Product information comes primarily from Open Food Facts, a collaborative database under the ODbL licence. YumiQ does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of this data and disclaims any liability for its use for medical or dietary purposes.
6. Service Availability
YumiQ is provided "as is", without any guarantee of permanent availability. The publisher reserves the right to suspend or interrupt the service at any time, particularly for maintenance or technical upgrades.
7. Suspension and Termination
The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in case of violation of these Terms. Users may delete their account at any time from the application settings. Deletion results in the erasure of personal data in accordance with the privacy policy.
8. Amendments
These Terms may be modified at any time. Users will be informed of significant changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Lyon shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
